TARO WAVE COACH JACKET

The Taro Wave Coach Jacket is NIGHTSHIFT's take on a wardrobe mainstay. A silhouette drawn from the athletic outerwear of 1980s Japan, reinterpreted through the lens of the Asian diaspora. The Taro Lavender colorway takes its name from the root that runs through AAPI food culture, from market stalls to family tables, translated into a city pop-era purple that sits between nostalgia and contemporary design.

Built from a heavyweight cotton/nylon blend for an elegant hand, the jacket is cut with a wide, oversized silhouette and a lengthened body that falls to the mid-thigh. Large sleeves create a voluminous drape. Designed as light outerwear, it layers comfortably over sweaters and hoodies.

Features a mandarin-style collar and adjustable snap button cuffs. Body is lined with polyester mesh, with soft polyester lining inside the sleeves for comfort.
